Siding

Siding that stands up to a Minnesota winter and looks good doing it.

Siding is your home's coat. We install vinyl and LP SmartSide engineered wood siding with the details that matter - house wrap, flashing at every window and door, and trim that is sealed, not just nailed.

What we install

The short list, in plain terms.

Categories, not a catalog. Which product fits your house, your budget, and the look you want is a conversation we have at your kitchen table.

  • Vinyl siding

Low upkeep and far better than the vinyl of twenty years ago.

  • LP SmartSide engineered wood

The look of wood, built to handle freeze and thaw. Our go-to upgrade.

  • Trim, soffit, and fascia

Finished cleanly so the job looks intentional from every angle.

  • House wrap and flashing

The water management under the siding that keeps the wall dry.

What you get

What we bring to the job, and why it matters.

Three things you can count on every time - including the parts you will not see once the work is done.

The right material for your house

We will lay out the real trade-offs between vinyl and engineered wood - cost, maintenance, look, and how each handles freeze-thaw cycles.

Water management that works

Most siding failures are flashing failures. We integrate house wrap, window and door flashing, and kick-out flashing so water goes where it should.

Trim and details finished properly

Corners, J-channel, soffit and fascia, and utility penetrations are finished cleanly so the job looks intentional from every angle.

How it works

Four steps. No surprises.

Here is what happens from the first call to the last walkthrough.

Which siding lasts longest in Minnesota?

Quality engineered wood like LP SmartSide handles our climate very well with reasonable upkeep, and modern vinyl is far better than it was twenty years ago. It comes down to budget and the look you want.

Can siding be installed in cold weather?

Yes, with care. Vinyl in particular needs to be cut and fastened to allow for expansion, and we adjust for that in cold temperatures.

Will you replace rotten sheathing if you find it?

Yes. Your estimate includes a per-sheet price ahead of time so there are no surprises.

Not sure what the outside of your house needs? Start with a free inspection.

We will look, take photos, and tell you plainly what we see - repair, replace, or leave it alone. No pressure either way.
